Vintage Chic Anthropologie Owl Baby Shower

We flipped out when we saw this amazing baby shower planned by JL Designs Couture Floral and Event Designs. When Carisa of JL Designs found out her friends Carlie and Gabriel were having a baby shower for their baby-in-waiting, Lincoln Roe, she jumped at the chance to be involved. The result is this unbelieveable “Anthropologie Owl Baby Shower”. Along with her friends, wedding photographer Jesi Haack and Melody of  Sweet and Saucy Shop, this baby shower became a vintage feeling party overflowing with charm charm and creative details. The invites were designed and created by mommy-to-be Carlie. “When I got mine in the mail, I couldn’t bring myself to untie the twine, it was that cute,” says Carissa. “In fact, it’s still assembled perfectly on my dining room table and i can’t bare the thought of throwing it away…” Here is a close up shot of the invitation, which was not only handmade, but hand-delivered, and included special details like custom fabrics and twine:

The colorful, translucent vases look so pretty all grouped together like this, and primarily all-white blooms add a soft, delicate vibe without competing with the colors in the vases. Yellow pom pom flowers add and a nice pop of color in just a few key places!

guests were asked to write “love notes” to Lincoln… And now, the lovely dessert buffet by Sweet and Saucy… The presentation & set up of this buffet looks as
delicious as the treats! Tissue and paper pom garlands make for such a
pretty backdrop…Treats included: mini candy bar cupcakes, red velvet and
carrot cake flavored cake pops, mini fruit “pizzas”, iced sugar cookies
decorated with super-cute purple and yellow owl motifs. The desk included a block-letter “L” sign, wooden owl figurines, old-fashioned hard-cover books, a customized photo guest book,
