The story rocked England seven weeks ago when baby Maisie Roxanne was born to 15-year-old Chantelle Steadman, who claimed her boydfriend, 13-year-old Alfie was the father. A media circus insued when six other teenage boys from Eastbourne England came forward claiming they had slept with Chantelle and that they might be the baby’s father.

Alfie Patten Documentary Shelved in Controversy Wake

Those who were waiting for an exclusive television interview with 13-year-old boy/father Alfie Patten will have to wait. Channel 4 has dropped a planned Cutting Edge documentary on Patten over concerns about paying his family. A film crew from independent production company Zig Zag, maker of Totally Jodie Marsh, had been following Alfie Patten and his family since Sunday but it is understood the broadcaster has now decided to abandon the project.
