In a sad soap opera going on since February in England, the father of Chantelle Steadman’s baby is not 13-year-old Alfie Patten, but 15-year-old Tyler Barker. Barker lived in the same housing estate as the Steadmans in Eastbourne. Barker said he was ’shocked’ that he father baby Maisie Roxanne because he only slept with Chantelle once when he was 14.
Alfie Patten Documentary Shelved in Controversy Wake
Those who were waiting for an exclusive television interview with 13-year-old boy/father Alfie Patten will have to wait. Channel 4 has dropped a planned Cutting Edge documentary on Patten over concerns about paying his family. A film crew from independent production company Zig Zag, maker of Totally Jodie Marsh, had been following Alfie Patten and his family since Sunday but it is understood the broadcaster has now decided to abandon the project.
Alfie Patten’s Mom Due in Court for Truancy Charges
Alfie Patten’s mother, Nicola Hill Patten, 43, is due to appear in court today for failing to ensure her 13-year-old son attended school. The charges relate to a five-month period last year, when Alfie failed to attend regularly Willingdon Community School.
