Frosting for the Cause, where baking bloggers could come together to share their recipes for desserts with the main goal being to raise funds and awareness for research into women’s cancers.
America’s largest military baby shower will be held on October 10 in Las Vegas for 32 new and expectant mothers who have deployed partners or are active-duty servicewomen. Sponsored by Operation Top Knot, a project of nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels, the surprise event will include gifts from the local community and flowers from expectant fathers.
Grandfather of the Suleman octuplets will make his first television appearance on Tuesday’s Oprah (February 23). Ed Doud, father of Nadya Suleman, said that “I’m no psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation.” Doud believes that his daughter and her doctor were foolish to allow Suleman to have in vitro fertilization so many times. Suleman, 33, already had six children before having her octuplets, and three out of the six have ‘special needs.’ She is currently unemployed, and living with her mother in Whittier, Calif.
