After Appearing on the View is Nadya Suleman Insane?

For over a year now, I’ve been reporting on Nadya Suleman. Originally rising to fame as being the mother of the only surviving set of octuplets, the woman dubbed ‘Octomom’ has become a notorious news onion. Today she appeared as a guest on the View. I have no idea what she thought she would be able to get out of this interview but I knew nothing good would come from it. I was right.

Octomom Nadya Suleman may be celebrating her new slim figure, but it’s her kids who are having the party. Happy birthday wishes go out to Maliyah, Makai, Isaiah, Noah, Josiah, Jeremiah, Jonah and Nariyah, the six boys and two girls from La Habra, Calif. appear in a photo dated Jan. 24 surrounded by balloons and a giant chocolate cake.

Angels in Waiting Files Three Complaints with Child Services About Octomom Nadya Suleman with Dr. Phil

According to their attorney, Gloria Allred, Angels in Waiting USA have reportedly already made three complaints to Child Protective Services about the octuplets’ mom. On two episodes of Dr. Phil, airing today and Thursday this week, AIW USA reps and Allred (and Suleman by phone on one segment) will talk about why the deal between the nonprofit organization and Suleman went sour. Allred tells Dr. Phil: “I think the real reason that Nadya has not been able to continue with Angels in Waiting may be the fact that not one but three reports had to be filed with Child Protective Service by Angels in Waiting [who] are mandated reporters under the law.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Give Back to UNICEF and Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, parents of the adorable Harlow Madden, hosted a benefit for UNICEF’s Tap Project, which helps provide clean and accessible water to children around the world. The event was hosted by the couple’s own Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation on March 24 at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse. Celebrities in attendance at the event, which was held at MyHouse in LA, included fashionista Rachel Zoe, Lauren Conrad, Matt Dallas, and Joel’s bro and Good Charlotte bandmate Benji Madden.
