It is humbling and amazing for Sara of Running Lawyer to feel so loved by friends and family members. Sara’s baby shower was hosted by her mother-in-law, her mom, and her sister-in-law, who went above and beyond planning her a beautiful baby shower.
The theme of the shower was “birds and bees” specifically, ducks and bumblebees. Held at the Clarksville
Station Restaurant, part of Overlook Farms, in Clarksville, MO, this shower was nothing short of gorgeous.
The invitations were from Trinity Street Studio and started the yellow and gray color trend of the day.
Sara’s sister-in-law Lindsey did all the decorations, from bee hives, fabric, duckies and flowers on the tables to pinwheels, daisy pomanders and decorated onesies on clotheslines. She even created personalized advice cards, not to mention thank you cards too.
Glass bubbles hung from the rafters and little jars of honey were perfect as party favors.
The food was outstanding and included chicken salad sandwiches, fresh fruit, grilled vegetables, bruschetta, flatbread and goat cheese stuffed mini tomatoes. Sara’s mom brought cupcakes, punch and the brownie pops.
Sticking with the “bee” theme, the restaurant gifted Sara with a gift package of home-made honey-infused bath product from a local boutique called “Bee Naturals.”
“I’m totally biased, but I think this little guy did a great job of picking a family to join that’s going to love him to pieces. We may all be crazy, but we love it each for it!”
Thanks so much for sharing your BEE-autiful day with us Sara!
