Fields of Gold Make This Newborn Photography Session Beautiful

This precious family was so excited at the birth of their first son, William. As photographer Amber S. Wallace was actually in the process of setting up a maternity shoot, little William decided he would rather come early! So two weeks later, she shot his first photo session in a field in the foothills of North Carolina. “The dark woven basket and tan teddy bear were great to use in this light tan colored field on this old homestead and their darker colors in their clothing stood out nicely as a contrasting color to their background. Hayley also brought a handmade hat for the baby that a family member had handmade especially for him. Providing little details like this in your shoot not only provides great props but also helps to capture a great memory of special things at that time. With a quick clothes change for the baby, we headed inside the old abandoned homestead and took some great shots of the new family all cuddled together with a blanket that had the baby’s name embroidered. I love newborn shoots and the feeling you get as a photographer after shooting a session with a happy family that is so excited to share with the world their new little blessing.”
