Howdy Western Cowboy Turquoise Baby Shower

Baby Lifestyles recommends Tiny Prints for Gifts for Dads on Father's Day and Grads

Miranda of Whimsical Printables was super excited when my friend Dara agreed to let her throw her a baby shower. But when you have a friends who’s got talent pouring out their ears, can you blame her for wanting it? For her day celebrating the arrival of baby boy Easton, she threw a western cowboy themed shower and incorporated turquoise blue into the decor. Miranda created paisley patterned printables which were used throughout the day, adding a touch of elegance to the rugged western theme.

The beautiful door wreath kicked off the decor of the day, using leopard print, cool beige and eye-catching turquoise in it. It followed to the interior where a cowboy diaper cake looks like it should be saying “reach for the sky.” Across the fireplace hung a string of tea-stained onesies with adorned with cowboy iron-on decals. Never a detail unturned, they were hung up on a rope.

“The “Make A Wish” station was a real hit as well. I couldn’t believe I found a horseshoe tree either! Each person as able to place a wish on a card and hang from the tree!”

At the end of the day, guests saddled up to the dessert table, where cowboy themed cookies and cupcakes awaited them.

A ruffle cake was the sheriff centerpiece of the dessert table. It stood on a rustic box and oversaw the cake pops and chocolate covered Oreo cookies. All in white and turquoise of course!

“I truly had such a wonderful time creating this great day for my special friend!” Thanks for sharing it with us Miranda!
