Orange and Grey Goldfish Baby Shower

Erika from Small Shop Studio outdid herself hosting this grey and orange goldfish shower for her sister-in-law. “Because it was a small affair — all close family – I didn’t go too crazy with the décor, but did do a few festive things to spice up the party, all easily replicable and very affordable.”
To add drama to her shower’s decor, Erika added large and beautiful tissue poufs in grey and orange. They add a powerful, colorful and elegant statement, while also keeping the decorations minimal and very affordable.
The theme of this baby shower brunch was goldfish for the Connie’s baby boy. Orange goldfish were swimming on the invitation and Erika kept them swimming throughout the day. We loved that she had them on onesies for the cupcake toppers! She found her cupcake centerpiece on Etsy and is “completely in love with how it came out.”
Erika set up a simple Mimosa bar in the back, complete with OJ, grapefruit and blood orange juices in $5 glass carafes.
For party favors, guests went home with Earl Grey and salted caramel French macaroons. The tags featured orange goldfish swimming on onesies. Erika’s mom came up with the idea to trim the bags into the shape of fish tails. Such a cute touch! The favors were found in…what else?! A fishbowl!
