If you fell in love with Bella’s French country and vintage nursery, you’ll swoon for the baby shower her mom had to welcome her arrival. This muted color palette mom Jen calls signature for how she decorates, which you can see in her shop The Willows, and her baby Bella’s nursery. Her baby shower was thrown at her friend Bev’s house.
Giant tissue flowers greeted guests as they entered Bev’s home. “Rip-and-tear is how I tell people to make them,” she said. “They are so simply yet make such a statement.” Real flower mixtures of roses and pink peonies (Jen’s favorite!) were placed around her home as well. “She carried white ones in her wedding and we gave her pink ones for her baby girl’s shower.” As a collector of white dishware, Bev had plenty of beautiful vases and pitchers to place them in.
Bev and co-hostess Krista cooked up a delicious for Jen’s 25 party guests. The day started out in Bev’s kitchen where she served almond champagne and a variety of fruits, crackers, and cheeses. Once moved into her living room, guests dined on prosciutto and brie sandwiches, as well as homemade panna cotta for dessert made by Bev’s chef daughter.
Remembering her day, Jen shared with us: “As the guest of honor, this shower was more than anything I could have dreamed. It was so beautiful and I will remember it always and forever.”
Thanks girls for sharing this pretty baby shower day with us!
