Victoria Beckham’s Posh Pink Explosion Baby Shower

After having three boys, Victoria and David Beckham are so happy to be in the pink expecting a baby girl. To celebrate the little one’s coming arrival, good friends Eva Longoria and hair stylist Ken Paves threw a baby shower for Victoria this weekend. The 37-year-old requested the theme of the shower to be “pink,” along with all the baby gifts. The baby shower took place at the Butterfly Bar in the Petit L’Ermitage hotel in West Hollywood. There were about 30 guests, including Nicole Richie, Demi Moore, Rachel Zoe, and mom-to-be Selma Blair.

The colorful bash featured pink tablecloths, tables, chairs and a pink marzipan “princess” cake. Beckham arrived at the event around 12:15 p.m. in a stylish V-neck purple dress. Some of Beckham’s desired baby gifts included a pink bathrobe, nursing pillow, stroller, books, clothes and much more.

The guests were split up into teams to play games. Some of the tasks were making dresses out of toilet paper and picking up water balloons only by using your chin. Apparently they also played games. Selma Blair “led one team in a quest to make the best dress out of toilet paper. Another game involved picking up water balloons with one’s chin.” It’s nice to know that Posh Spice can figuratively let her hair down sometimes.

Among the gifts Beckham reportedly received were a pink Quinny Buzz Special Edition stroller, a mamaRoo baby swing, a pink Hoppop Bath tub, a pink Little Giraffe Luxe Blanket, a Timi and Leslie diaper bag and a 5 ft. custom-made giraffe by Melissa and Doug.

“Such a lovely day!!!thank u so much @EvaLongoria and @KenPaves for being such wonderful friends. Baby showers are so much fun!!!!!!!x vb,” Beckham tweeted after the event.

The Beckhams originally thought they were going to have another boy. “Oh, it’s a boy.’ I was like, ‘Great,’ and Victoria was like, ‘Ugh. Another penis in the house,’” said David on the Jimmy Kimmel show. On the next scan, the Beckhams were told they were going to have a girl. This news came as an obvious relief for Victoria.

As for the name of the new baby girl, David has said that his three sons have decided that they should be in charge of naming their baby sister. “When we got told it was a boy, Romeo was like, ‘How about Justin Bieber Beckham?’ So now that we know it’s a girl, he’s like, ‘What about Justine Bieber Beckham?’”
