“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Star Kim Zolciak Hosts Baby Shower

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kim Zolciak and her guy Kroy Biermann celebrated the impending arrival of their baby with an over-the-top baby shower.

Held at the Grand Atrium in downtown Atlanta, Kim wore a Rafeal Cennamo dress that showed off her ever-growing baby bump, along with Guiseppe stilettos shoes. She later ditched her high heels for a more practical pair of rhinestone studded slippers by Shajan Clay.

Along with Kim’s family, RHOA stars Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Sheree Whitfield, hairstylist/singer Lawrence Washington and Kim’s assistant, Sweetie Hughes, were present for the baby bash. NeNe Leakes, Zolciak’s ultimate frenemy, was nowhere to be found.

Jamie Foster Brown, editior-in-chief of Sister 2 Sister magazine, loved the atmosphere of the shower. “The cake was off-the chain with different layers of chocolate. Everything was gorgeous. They had a slide show and the photos of Kroy and Kim are just beautiful,” said Foster Brown.

Kim later tweeted, “I want to thank everyone that came to our baby shower! We love all of you and are so grateful to share this experience w/ u! Xxoo.” Upon later questioning of the sex of the baby, Kim also tweeted, “Yes, lots of blue! We are expecting a boy,” confirming that her two daughters will be getting a baby brother! The sex of the child shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, since Kim’s psychic predicted as much.

“Huge thank you to my love Kim Zolciak for such a special and wonderful baby shower for our son!” Falcons player Kroy Biermann tweeted following the festivities.

Zolciak posted a thank you to “Gail and Hester from Wedding Soiree” for the bash. (Hmm. Wedding Soiree?)
