On a beautiful sunny Sunday, Sarah of Style Me Gorgeous celebrated her son Max’s baby naming, at home with a celebration of family and friends. “I had a great time designing and creating every little detail for the special day,” Sarah said. Sarah chose a blue elephant theme for the day, with all decorations and even some delicious desserts following here color palette.

“The striped paper lanterns were the color inspiration for the whole party. I found them at the local spotlight store many months before the party , and fell in love, so planned the theme around those,” Sarah said. The delicate paper lanterns hung over Max’s elephant dessert buffet, alongside a banner that spelled the special little man’s name out.

Max had a fondant cake topped with a sweet elephant and an ‘M’ monogram cake topper. His sweets were also topped with blue elephant graphics.

“My favorite details were the ‘wishes for max’ suitcase where I had little note cards and envelopes for family and friends to write a little note for Max to open when he gets older. I also loved the elephant cookies, so easy to make, they are a lovely take home gift for the kids, and packaging them with a cookie bagĀ topper makes them that extra bit special,” Sarah said.
