Claudia Schiffer Is Expecting a Baby Girl with Husband Matthew Vaughan

We previously reported that supermodel Claudia Schiffer is pregnant with her third child. Proud parents to be Claudia Schiffer and her husband Matthew Vaughn confirmed they will be adding a baby girl to their clan come May. Schiffer attended the premiere of her hubby’s new film, Kick-Ass, with one of the most fashionable baby bumps we’ve ever seen. Now the pregnant supermodel has revealed that she and director/producer husband Matthew Vaughan are expecting a baby girl. She will join 6-year-old son, Casper, and 5-year-old daughter, Clementine.

With a brood of three, expect the leggy German native to take it a bit easier on the posing front. “I used to work every single day and travel round the world. I worked weekends, I never took one second off,” Schiffer says of her jet-setting modeling days. “When I met my husband I said, ‘You know what, this is important. I’m not going to work weekends any more.’ And when I had kids, I became even more careful. Modeling work is fine because you can do one day here, two days there — you’re never gone long,” she told the fashion site.

Like so many pregnant women, Claudia confesses to cravings, and is, believe it or not, indulging in beer, the non-alcoholic variety. “Before my pregnancies, I was someone who had to watch their weight,” Schiffer says. “I had a personal trainer, I was working out, I would never eat anything sweet. Anyway, I got pregnant and when I was breastfeeding it just came off. I can eat whatever I want. If I don’t eat enough, I will lose weight.”

We think we should start hating her now!

While Claudia Schiffer may currently have trouble keeping the pounds on, she was famous for putting curves (it’s all relative) on the catwalk.
