Baby Swags in association with ACT Today! and Baby & Tween Celebration LA will be hosting an online celebrity charity auction that will help to both raise money and awareness for Autism care and treatment. In support of April’s Autism awareness month Baby Swags has sent out approximately one hundred celebrity invitations with blank puzzle pieces in each. The puzzle piece is the nationally recognized symbol for Autism awareness.
“We have asked each celebrity to sign his or her puzzle piece and return it to Baby Swags”, states Phyllis Pometta, founder of Baby Swags. “Once each piece is received, it will be framed and placed up for auction with 100% of the profits benefiting the non-profit charity organization, ACT Today!”
Each celebrity has also been given an invitation to attend the two-day, highly anticipated, Baby & Tween Celebration LA on April 25 & 26, 2009. At this event, each celebrity has the opportunity to hand deliver their signed puzzle piece over to Baby Swags at their exclusive lounge; “The Rockin Lollipop Lounge”. By being present at this event, each celebrity will have a photograph taken while holding their ‘piece to the puzzle’, which will then be framed with the puzzle piece and will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting ACT Today!. The Baby Swags online charity auction will take place following the close of the Baby & Tween Celebration LA expo on or after April 26, 2009.
