Alfie Patten’s Mom Due in Court for Truancy Charges
Baby Lifestyles | Feb 24, 2009 | Comments 1
You would think Alfie Patten has enough problems in his life that missing school to deal with them would be the smart thing to do. Instead, Patten’s mother, Nicola Hill Patten, 43, is due to appear in court today for failing to ensure her 13-year-old son attended school. The charges relate to a five-month period last year, when Alfie failed to attend regularly Willingdon Community School.
The council started court proceedings against Mrs Patten under the Education Act and as a result she could be fined. Meanwhile Alfie is set to have a DNA test to prove his paternity of baby Maisie Roxanne born to his 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman. More on that news as it comes!
