Alfie Patten, Chantelle Steadman, Bristol Palin, Teens with Babies, DNA Results Live

In the wake of the drama created by Chantelle Steadman giving birth to baby Maisie Roxanne in East Sussex, England, teen mother and daughter of Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin, Bristol talks about abstinence and why it just ‘isn’t realistic’ for teens. In an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteran, she spoke about motherhood, saying: “It’s just, like, I’m not living for myself anymore. . . . You’re up all night. And it’s not glamorous at all. Like, your whole priorities change after having a baby.”

“I’d love to [be] an advocate to prevent teen pregnancy because it’s not, like, a situation that you would want to strive for, I guess,” the new mother said.

We know some teenagers who could use this advice. The drama continues for little father Alfie Patten as up to eight–yes eight boys, all of them teenagers have come forward in Sparticus fashion to say that they are the father of Chantelle’s baby. Reports say that Chantelle has done nothing but cry since she gave birth and Alfie has allegedly been throwing tantrums over a possible DNA test. Both sets of grandparents have hired publicists to broker media deals so they can cash in on the baby–er–story. You couldn’t make it up if you tried.

Alfie has agreed to take a DNA test to put all the other paternity challenges to rest. Some reports indicate that the DNA results might even be revealed live on TV. Channel 4’s Cutting Edge is also in early discussions about the possibility of filiming a documentary about Alfie. One source said the programme would earn the family about £50,000, but Clifford said the real figure was “much below that”. It is rumoured that another television company has offered £80,000 for access to Alfie.
