Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie Celebrate Celebrity Baby Birthdays with ‘Wild’ Party

Trust Christina Aguilera to see in her son’s first birthday with a ‘wild’ party. A “wild” time was had by all when the sasssy singer and husband Jordan Bratman threw a party Saturday (January 17) afternoon to celebrate the first birthday of son Max, who turned 1 on Jan. 12. The theme: a bash inspired by the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are.

The star invited celebrity pals Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, whose daughter Harlow celebrated her first birthday on 11 January, and 40 other guests. The party was held at the singer’s Beverly Hills home.

Aguilera decorated surorunding trees with festive blue, green and pink balloons while her guests nibbled on kid-friendly classic foods including mini peanut butter-and-jelly sandwiches. As a special treat for the smallest guests, costumed characters from the book were the day’s entertainment. Happy Birthday Max!
